ARTIST STATEMENT

Kate Lycett paints luminous landscapes full of pattern and glowing with light. She is inspired by the Yorkshire landscape; it's fast changing light, and our journeys through it. Kate works in a combination of inks, watercolours, acrylics, gold leaf and gold thread which give her work a unique sense of place and warmth.
